| These cameras are the type of cameras you can install any place providing the right housing, bracket and lens is added. They need to be set up according to the environment. Failing to do so might result in poor images. These cameras are also known to be more expensive than the plug and play type cameras but in turn can produce better images in “camera unfriendly conditions”. | Plug and Play Cameras: |

| These cameras are always supplied with a lens, bracket and some sort of housing. The housing will either be indoor (static domes, covert, board cameras etc.) or outdoor (Bullet, IR Bullet, vandal proof domes etc.) These cameras do not have to be setup. All the settings are factory set. These cameras are also more economically priced. |
